SlenderToxTea is a UK based company that offers a variety of detox teas, shakes, patches, coffees, and superfoods. While they have a variety of options to choose from, I am going to look directly at their teatox line. They offer an affiliate program for those who wish to endorse the SlenderToxTea in return for money and product. They have an irritating pop up message telling you every time someone has purchased come up, which actually made me want to leave the page immediately. Directly on their website they give their contact information which is: Slendertoxtea, Malmarc House, 116 Dewsbury Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS11 6XD [email protected] +44 (0) 8724350567 (If you have any questions directly.)

Their Tea Products:

14-Day Sleeptox: $14.41 28-Day Sleeptox: $20.17

Ingredients:

  • Valerian Root
  • Senna Leaf
  • Lotus Leaf
  • Hawthorn Berry Extract
  • Camellia Flowers
  • Orange Peel
  • Rhubarb Root
14-Day Daytox: $20.17 28-Day Daytox and Sleeptox: $43.25

Ingredients:

  • Green Tea
  • Hawthorn Grain
  • Red Sterling Beans
  • Camellia Flower
  • Fennel Seeds
  • Radish Leaf
  • Camellia Seeds
  • *Please note you cannot purchase an individual Daytox on the 28-day plan, which does not make a lot of sense because they sell the 28-day night tox separately. You will have to purchase a bundle of both if you want to incorporate the day/night together.

SlenderToxTea Claims

The company states in regards to their teas: *Weight loss is only achieved through a combination of diet and exercise. These products may serve as support for these efforts.

On the website they address the return policy: you are entitled to a 7 day cooling off period that starts the day after you receive the goods. If you would like to make a return, please contact us via the returns form on the website (www.stttesting.com/returns-form) and provide us with the required details. We accept the return of items only if they are unopened, in their original condition, unused and in their original packaging. If you return the goods as detailed we will issue a refund for the goods, excluding delivery charges.

SlenderToxTea Scientific Backing

Unfortunately, I did not see any backing on their website whatsoever. They make a point to have a tab for press, and social media but nothing abut why the product is backed up and proven to help you lose weight. What I find interesting is that they market this as a weight loss tea, but also as a detox tea with the comment that weight loss is ONLY achieved through exercise and diet. (We all know this to be true). There are mixed messages here, as well as too many products to choose from. I could spend all day trying to figure out what to buy. This tea is also not FDA approved, so I would think twice before investing in it to begin with.

Is SlenderToxTea Effective?

After looking at outside sources, this tea did not work for over half of the people who purchased it. The common theme with the reviews was that it was simply an expensive laxative and nothing more. Customers spent a great deal of time in the bathroom losing a lot of water weight initially, but that loss of water weight also came with bad gas, upset stomach, and indigestion for days. Losing water weight not only dehydrates you, but it is a false representation of weight loss for the long term.

Does SlenderToxTea Have Side Effects?

Yes, because of the famous Senna leaf ingredient present in the sleeptox tea, there is a strong laxative effect. Some people even commented that the cleanse gave them diarrhea, and stomachaches for days. This tea will leave you sitting in the bathroom for a long time, which is not convenient for anyone who has a life. I would not want to take a chance with this side effect, as well as the other unpleasant side effects (nausea, gas, vomiting, and headaches) that this product has been known to bring on without the convincing prove that it would be worth it long term.

What Is SlenderToxTea Support Like?

While their return policy is absolutely horrible (aka: If you open it, you can’t return it), their support options pleasantly surprised me. They do not hide from their customers, and they give them a phone number, e-mail, and address if a true problem arises. Because they are based out of the UK, the shipping times, and support hours are going to not coincide with anyone in the States, they still make themselves readily available.

The Bottom Line

Overall, this company is producing a tea line that has left many people sick, and using the bathroom more often than they would prefer. The price point, and bundle options are a bit confusing as you can buy the night tea separate, but you can’t purchase the daytime tea separately. Because the company is based in the UK, the shipping and returns for that matter are going to be a huge pain the butt. The night tea’s controversial ingredient, Senna leaf, has made people feel ill, while experiencing stomach pain from the moment they ingest it, which makes me want to run for the hills. All in all, this product seems like it is overpriced, and not effective as a whole. I would steer clear from purchasing this product, and believe it will save you a headache or two in the long run.
