Tea Mi is a USA based company based out of Miami, Florida that sells a line of 5 teas. The teas (Skinny, Colon, Relax, Profit, Energy) are meant to clean and detoxify your system. They offer a 30-day money back guarantee from the day you place your order, and if you need to cancel you have to cancel within 2 hours of your order to ensure the product does not ship out. Their detox lines come with 30-day supplies, of the colon cleanse and the skinny tea to take each day.

This is a 3-month detox plan with 3 packets of skinny teas, and 3 blends of a colon cleanse for $139.00.

Teami 30 Days Detox Pack $49.99

This comes with one packet of the colon cleanse tea, and a skinny tea packet.

As you can see there are many options to choose from in TeaMi’s line of teas. It is the same product, but just bundled in different ways with different pricing. They also offer teacups, diffusers, and steepers as accessories.

Tea Mi Claims

This company makes many claims on the site, and one of the most common claims under each and ever tea they sell is, “Our loose leaf tea is all natural, and results and benefits vary from person to person.” Right on the website, they claim you must be at least 18 years of age or older to purchase or drink the teas. They also state that their teas will never go bad, and will always stay fresh.

Unlike many teas, this one actually contains a form of laxatives, which have many people bringing up questions about the bathroom effect. Their response: “The colon cleanse tea bags create a gentle laxative effect in order to flush out all of the unwanted toxins. You may experience slight cramping and frequent visits to the bathroom due to the laxative effect.”

Tea Mi Scientific Backing

There is not an ounce of scientific backing on the website behind the ingredients, and why they were chosen for specific teas. They state on the website: “There are thousands of recorded tea plant species around the world. How many exist exactly? That is like asking how many stars light up the night sky- far too many to count. So what did we do? We analyzed them, ate them, drank them and blended them in every combination possible until we found the perfect formulas to give you the most effective, organic, tasty tea!” While this sounds good, the fact that there is no expiration date on the teas, and they were chosen instead of researched draws a red flag for me.

Not to mention, it is very hard to find the actual ingredient list on the teas, as you have to literally add the product into a shopping cart to see any form of ingredient list (which still doesn’t go into any depth about what you are consuming.) Why the hiding?

Here is what I found

Colon Cleanse:
  • Senna Leaf & Root
  • Hawthorn Berry Extract
  • Lotus Leaf
  • Lime Leaf & Extract
  • Psyllium Husk Seed
  • Phaseolus Calcaratus Seed

Is Tea Mi Effective?

After trying to look at outside sources, there were little to no honest reviews to look at. All of the reviews came directly from the website, which were obviously ranting and raging about how great the product is. This right away sparks distrust with me as the customer, because you are unsure of the honesty of the company right from the start.

Does Tea Mi Have Side Effects?

Funny you ask that! Yes, in fact it does have side effects. The ingredient Senna leaf found in the colon cleanse is a natural laxative, so you will find yourself going to the bathroom more often than not. They call it a gentle laxative.

What Is Tea Mi Support Like?

The support is e-mail only. This is not convenient, and I do not like the way companies are progressing to e-mails only! I would appreciate a number to call, and a real person to talk to. The support overall is weak. C’mon help a sister out!

The Bottom Line

The company overall is overwhelming to say the least. They offer a 30-day money back guarantee. See this note from the company: If you change your mind or are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order, within 30 days of purchase to our warehouse for a full refund. Please note, that returns must be unopened and new condition  and in the original packaging. Teami Blends - 15232 US Highway 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33764. With no outside reviews it seems as this company is protecting itself from negative reviews, which we all know is a cop-out. The customer service is not even available to talk to, if you have a real problem, and you are enrolled in an auto ship program. Gr. Unsatisfied.
