What You Need To Know About High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS)

We can all agree that limiting the daily amount of sugar ingested on a daily basis will do a body good in the long haul. There are so many different names for sugar, that they all become clumped together and seen as bad in the big picture, but does the body process them differently? High […]

3 Best Foods For Your Heart

Heart disease still ranks as the #1 killer for Americans. Roughly every 40 seconds someone in the United States has a heart attack, and every 5 minutes someone dies from a stroke.

Heart disease still ranks as the #1 killer for Americans. Roughly every 40 seconds someone in the United States has a heart attack, and every 5 minutes someone dies from a stroke. These are health conditions that are too well known in our country and many times the condition runs prevalent within many of our families. While healthy living such as exercise, sleep, and genetics play a huge part, your diet does as well. There are a couple of foods you can enjoy that will help maintain your heart health, as well as increase your quality of life!

    Chickpeas

Not everyone has had the luxury of indulging in yummy chickpeas, probably because they did not know enough about them to want to try them out. Chickpeas are loaded with healthy proteins that will lower your blood cholesterol levels. Not only will your body thank you, but your appetite will thank you as well because you will stop craving sugars and carbs with this nutrient dense snack. They are also known as garbanzo beans, and you can incorporate them into salsa’s, salads, or simply enjoy them by themselves.

Yummy Roasted Spicy Chickpeas (4 servings)

    Ingredients

    • 1 15-ounce can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    • 2 teaspoons of spice mixture (a curry, Moroccan, or Mexican spice)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
    2. Drain and rinse chickpeas in a colander. Pat dry.
    3. Toss chickpeas in a medium-sized bowl with olive oil, sea salt, and spices.
    4. Arrange chickpeas on a baking sheet in a single layer.
    5. Bake for 30 minutes or until crispy. While baking, shake pan to avoid burning.
    6. Transfer to a serving bowl.

Sprinkle and toss with more spices (optional)

    Dried Tart Cherries

This one may seem rather random to some people, but it definitely has benefits! These will be some of the tastiest and colorful additions you can add to your diet, and they will naturally serve as a good source of copper. If you are unsure of the benefits of copper, it naturally helps keep your tissues strong as well as protect you from free radicals. There are many ways to incorporate dried cherries into your diet, such as eating them as is, or making a yummy sauce out of them to put on chicken, salmon, or turkey!

    Dark Chocolate

Yes, you read this correctly! Dark chocolate has been proven to be a heart healthy food! Please keep in mind that in order for chocolate to reap antioxidant benefits it needs to be at least 75% or higher cocoa count and no more than 1 oz. per day. Dark chocolate has been known to lower your blood pressure, as well as reduce inflammation in the body. Don’t go overboard on consuming dark chocolate, as one ounce contains 9 grams of fat. The calories and fat levels will add up if you consume an entire chocolate bar in one sitting.

The foods highlighted above are only skimming the surface, as there are a multitude of healthy food choices that will strengthen your ticker, as well as keep your body healthy and happy long term.  Other heart healthy foods such as salmon, oatmeal, blueberries, and tomatoes are great options to incorporate into your heart healthy diet! Enjoy the delicious foods that will keep your heart healthy and strong!

Habits of People Who Are Always On Time

There are certain building blocks that are key to an individual’s success, whether it be financially, personally, or professionally.  The habits your form today can set you up for success long term and it can also take indefinite stressors out of your life.  I don’t know about you, but I have put myself in multiple situations where I am flying around my house trying to find my car keys, just knowing I am putting myself 10-15 minutes late for something I should never be late for. Or the famous cell phone in the couch scenario, how many times have you been there? You swear your phone has disappeared into a black hole, only to find it slightly wedged between the couch cushions, which in turn makes you another 10 minutes late. Not only is being late extremely embarrassing, it is also rude to the person wasting their time waiting on you, as well as irresponsible with time management on your part. I am going to go over a few tips that I learned from people who are rarely, if ever, late for anything.

“Time Has a Wonderful Way Of Showing Us What Really Matters.”

Are you that friend that is chronically late for everything? Well there is a underlying message that goes along with that habit, and it is a habit of being chronically rude toward someone else’s time. I don’t know about you, but my days are packed to the brim with activities and meetings. If I have a meeting that goes late by 10-15 minutes it will throw off the next endeavor. People who are always on time have tapped into a little secret that is perfectly do-able for anyone who knows how to work a clock. Set your car clock, watch, and other manual clocks forward by 15 minutes! Yes, it may seem like a lot, but it will give you a better sense of urgency when you fall behind. I was told when I was younger; if you are not 15 minutes early you are late!

    Simple Planning

No one is asking you to spend hours upon hours meal prepping, and closet planning (but hey it helps!). On the lighter side of things, it is important to use the night before as a rule of thumb to fumble around with clothing ideas, and lunch plans. Just by knowing your outfit for the day, it will take 5-10 minutes off of your morning routine. If you already have a breakfast made, and a lunch semi-packed you have the ability to shave 20+ minutes off of your normal routine in the morning. Hello free time! Not to mention, your meal choices will be much healthier most likely which will help keep you on track with your nutrition and wellness.

    Check The Tank

The famous gas tank panic. We have all sadly been there, and know how long it can take to find a gas station, pull in, and fill up the tank when you are in a hurry. This can be critical to making you late. Many times people who are punctual never let their gas tanks go past the ¼ full mark. They fill up when they are not in a hurry, and when they are conveniently near a gas station. When you are in a flurry, and start your car you will be relieved to see that gas gage sitting on full. Gas stations won’t make you late today!

    Command Station

A command station, or even a simple bowl to drop your keys and phones in will save you utter panic, and a lot of time each day. There is nothing worse than having to explain that you couldn’t find your car keys (which is why you were 20 minutes late). It just does not look good even if you are meeting a close friend. Have a simple bowl or “dropping place” where you can make it a habit to drop important items such as car keys and cell phones. No more searching in coat pockets, or sifting through dirty laundry for car keys that seem to hide from you!

No matter what your habits, it is always good to form some kind of routine for a guaranteed fresh start each day. Many of these tips will not only help you in the morning, but throughout the day to ensure punctuality when you need it most. Not only will you have less stress in your life, but also you will be communicating a strong message to people who you come into contact with daily. Time can communicate a lot of underlying messages (even if you don’t want them to), which is why you want to manage it in the best way possible. By following these simple tips, you will be on your way to a simpler and tardy free lifestyle.

    Jenny Craig Review

Does Jenny Craig Live Up To Her Word?

In the early 1970's in New Orleans, Genevieve Guidroz Bourcq was working at Body Contour, a weight-loss salon where women strapped themselves into vibrating machines believing it would help them lose weight, when she met Sidney Craig. They bonded over their common love for the weight-loss industry and quickly became a couple. In 1979, the pair moved to Melbourne, Australia, where they launched Jenny Craig, a powerhouse international weight-loss company that has garnered millions of subscribers over the last 37 years. However, despite its household name status, Jenny Craig is a very expensive program with wavering results which unlike most modern day diet programs has stayed behind times still offering processed food which in recent decade has become an epiphany of what bad food is. Let's look at it to determine if maybe processed and prepackaged does not really equal “bad”.

    How Does The Program Work

The three-pronged program goes as follows: attend weekly meetings with a Jenny Craig coach, eat from the official Jenny Craig frozen food menu, and complete 30 minutes of moderate exercise five days a week. With 600 centers worldwide, participants must pick up or subscribe to a delivery system to receive their weekly food rations for a hefty price tag of $560 a month.
“The coaches help you find solutions,” says Mary, a representative for Jenny Craig. “They’ll teach you the skill set to maintain your weight. They’re going to hold you accountable, and they’re going to motivate you the right away.” Jenny Craig coaches are the company’s main strength. Many of them are former subscribers of the diet themselves, and all have gone through comprehensive training. Weight-loss coaching is considered one of the best ways to shed the pounds. According to a 2011 study from Rio de Janiero University, those who receive weight loss coaching are 17 percent more likely to lose weight than those who fly solo.* In addition to the weekly coaching, Jenny Craig offers chat rooms, forums, and Skype sessions with your coach when you’re traveling.
Representatives are encouraged to mention the popular 2015 John Hopkins University study when pitching the diet to potential subscribers. “In the study, over the course of a year, people in Jenny Craig lost the most weight out of all the diets,” says Mary. This is only partially true. According to the study, Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig are the two most successful diet programs, and both are more effective in maintaining weight loss than any other plan. However, the researchers determined that no plan has proven to sustain weight loss over 12 months.*
Unlike other diet programs, Jenny Craig tries to go by the federal regulations as much as possible. Dieters are told they should be losing no more than two pounds a week because that’s what the National Institute for Health recommends. Yet, at $560 a week, depending on your weight-loss goal, this could be a very slow and expensive path to losing weight.
The second you hop on the phone with a representative, Jenny Craig has a surreal way of making you feel like it’s the only solution to your weight loss struggle. Representatives sweet-talk potential clients with promises of permanent results all while eating delicious meals with minimal calories. Their pitches are peppered with mentions of studies and awards.* It’s hard not to be swayed by Jenny Craig’s allure.

Do Dieters Lose Weight With Jenny Craig?

Jenny Craig insists that all three recommended meals a day only encompass around 1,200 total calories. Generally speaking 1200 calorie a day diets will help lose weight but the question is if that loss is sustainable?
We have found many customer reviews and conclusion to make is that most do lose weight but the weight is regained once the diet is stopped.
“You really are just a number they don't care, the longer you are there the better for them, but if your weight loss slows down it looks bad for them. I see more bad reviews here than good. Kirstie Alley lost and gained it all back, and we never see or hear about Valerie Bertinelli any more wonder if she gained it all back too. Stop wasting your money people looking for a quick fix, you can do it on your own without going bankrupt. I did, it just takes a lot of discipline and really wanting to do it for you. Jenny is not a lifestyle change, the food is processed and unhealthy and I now suffer from joint pain, which could be a result. Good luck to all of you who are battling the bulge, but Jenny is not the answer. I feel sick when I think of the money I have wasted, could have put my daughter through university. Sad but true.” – Tracey of Calgaryp*

    Conclusion

Despite boasting more than 70 meals, the Jenny Craig menu is meat-heavy, with very few vegetarian options. Vegans and the lactose-intolerant should forget about it, as all vegetarian dishes are made with dairy.* Clients are required to adhere to a strict food regiment: three prepackaged meals, with options such as Cheesy Chicken Enchilada and Florentine Breakfast Pizza; stick to two snacks or desserts a day, like Cheese Curls and Key Lime Pie; five servings of fruit and vegetables; and at least two non-fat dairy foods. All these items may sound quick and tasty, however only eating prepackaged foods for an indefinite amount of time has its eventual consequences. According to a 2010 study from the University of Melbourne, those who only consume processed foods are much more likely to suffer from anxiety, low self-esteem, and general emotional distress.*
Jenny Craig offers what seems a good return policy but beware, you only have 3 days to “change your mind” and might have trouble getting your membership fees back. One of Jenny Craig Diet users found herself feeling “ripped off”, please see her experience explained bellow.
“”I was shocked at the prices and not really happy when I discovered I had not been given everything I paid for. The food was awful. Pasta was gummy, rice mushy, too much or not enough seasoning. The meals I enjoyed were no longer on the menu, and I was hopeful some of my choices might be as good, but most of what I tried I didn't finish. My dogs turned their noses up at the Beef Merlot. I didn't go back the following week and did not receive any kind of follow-up call. I called customer service, and the phone rep was nice but the policy apparently is, “Too bad, we got your money, so what if we don't deliver as promised”. Can't even describe how ripped off I feel. Don't know if it is true that a big company bought out JC. I would never have gone back if I had known it was this bad.” – Teresa of Miami*
Eating prepackaged meals is damaging to your nervous system and overall mental and physical health. The exceedingly low calorie count without meeting nutritional needs of clean, unprocessed food is bound to cause an uptick in stress and other emotional challenges. Yet, the most concerning aspect of Jenny Craig is there’s no telling or proof if the regiment will help you to permanently keep off the weight.

    7 Tennis Elbow Home Remedies

The frustrations of tennis elbow, and how to heal properly

We have all been there at some point in time, and find ourselves on the side lines with an achy elbow unable to do even the simplest tasks. Lifting, pushing, and or merely waving can be painful endeavors that leave us frustrated. Tennis elbow comes from simple overuse of the tendons and surrounding muscles. Whatever has caused your tennis elbow, there are ways to find relief, and answers to your questions which I will talk about below.

The common description of tennis elbow or “lateral epicondylitis” is a painful condition of the elbow caused by overuse. Tennis elbow is an inflammation of the tendons that join the forearm muscles on the outside of the elbow. The forearm muscles and tendons become damaged from overuse — repeating the same motions again and again. This leads to pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow. (Ortho Info, 1).

…the keys to making sure you are back on the tennis court pain free is simple. You need to ice, rest, and let your arm heal properly before putting more strain onto the tendons and tissues.

    Symptoms:

    • Pain or burning on the outside of your elbow
    • Weak grip strength
    • Achy and stiff joints near the extensor tendons
    • Pain the in the wrist
    • Painful to shake hands

Before you take a trip to the doctor here are some home remedies that will ease your pain:

    1. Sufficient Rest. Allow at least 6-12 weeks for the tissues and tendons to repair.
    2. Gentle massage.
    3. Ice (for 20 minutes three times a day at least). *Tip: Fill up a Dixie cup, and freeze overnight. Once completely frozen, use this cup to rub around the irritated area of the elbow.
    4. Anti-inflammatory Medication or over the counter pain relievers. (Aspirin, or Ibuprofen)
    5. Stretching Exercises: Stretch your arm out straight, and bring your hand up (like you will give someone a high-five). With your opposite hand grab your extended arms fingertips and pull back toward you. This will give your forearm a good stretch. Hold for at least 15 seconds. Once finished, place your arm out straight in front, palm down and gently pull the hand towards you. These are two great stretches for tennis elbow. (Sports Injury Clinic, 1).
    6. Wearing an arm brace: This can ease some of the tension on your arm, and be a nice tool to aiding a quicker recovery.
    7. Check your equipment: A stiffer tennis racket with tight strings can put unwanted tension on your arm causing a flare up. Try switching to a more flexible racket, with a looser string pattern to put ease on your arm while healing. The tennis professionals in your area can give you racket and string recommendations. You might also want to check with a tennis professional to make sure your grip is correct.

If these remedies do not work for you, you will then want to see your doctor. They may conduct and MRI, X-Ray, or EMG (Nerve Compression) to see if anything more serious has happened to the tissues and tendons.

    The Pro’s of Home Remedies:

    • Non-surgical healing with quicker recovery time (No loss of strength, risk of infection, or loss of flexibility.)
    • Cost effective
    • Guidelines are easy to follow, and not as painful as surgery.

    The Con’s of Home Remedies:

    • The time it takes to properly heal tennis elbow can be extensive. (6-12 weeks).
    • Patience is key, and recovery is slow making one feel like the pain will never go away.
    • If rest is not taken seriously, the pain can become chronic.

To wrap up, the keys to making sure you are back on the tennis court pain free is simple. You need to ice, rest, and let your arm heal properly before putting more strain onto the tendons and tissues. Once you have rested and taken a good look at the equipment you are using, you can get back onto the court in no time! Remember, pushing through tennis elbow will only make it worse. Rest is key!

    Beyond Diet Review

The bulk of the information is mere common sense, and did not satisfy...

    Review overview

    Summary

Beyond Diet is a weight loss program founded in 2008 by Isabel De Los Rios.

    Pros

    • Patients lose weight on the program if followed
    • No dangerous substances used
    • Encourages healthy eating habits

    Cons

    • Waste of money
    • Doesn’t promote exercise
    • The money back guarantee is not a guarantee
    • Expensive with the demand of organic produce

    Ratings in depth

    • Effectiveness
    • Scientific Backing
    • Customer Reviews
    • Customer Support
    • Money Back Guarantee
    4.3 10 Average

The Beyond Diet company focuses on educating people on what they should and shouldn’t eat based on their body type. While it seems like a great kick starter for some, it is rather common sense to eat the correct foods regardless of your body type. There is a $47.00 charge involved in getting set up with the Beyond Diet community, and then you are pressured to get the add ons (detox book, recipes etc.). Based on our connection to information online, I would not spend money on information that is already available to you free of charge. To top it all off, there have been absolute horror stories about current customers trying to cancel their subscription to the program, and being unable to do so thus creating unwanted monthly charges on their credit cards.

    Beyond Diet Claims

Beyond Diet offers a 60-day money back guarantee, with a twist. They claim that “In addition, Beyond Diet reserves the right to refuse a refund to anyone reasonably suspected by Beyond Diet to have previously taken advantage of Beyond Diet’s 60 Day Money Back Guarantee on more than one occasion.” This happens more than you would think, and the tone in many upset customer's voices are nearly frantic when they are trying to get a hold of the company to stop charging their credit cards.

Regarding their subscription, the Subscription fees after the initial purchase are non-refundable. All subscriptions are set to process every 30 days by default. The customer may cancel, but it has to be at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle.

In their health disclaimer they say,” We are not medical professionals and nothing on this website should be misconstrued to mean otherwise.”

Also stated about their spotty third parties, and manufacturing, “If a product or service is new, you understand that it may not have been available for purchase long enough to provide an accurate results history.”

The health disclaimer has not been updated since 2010.

    Beyond Diet Scientific Backing

Isabel De Los Rios claims to be a certified nutritionist, and fitness expert for over 15 years. Regarding scientific backing from actual doctors, we have yet to find them on the website. They do not provide the potential customer any knowledge scientifically to why their program is said to work by the professionals. The basis of the method is simple; you will only lose weight if you change your bad eating habits to healthier eating habits. There is still science involved in creating a comprehensive program for people to truly lose weight, and they fail to provide that information to the potential customer. Current customers are spending nearly $50 dollars for motivational messages, tips, and recipes when they are right at your fingertips for free on many different websites throughout the internet.

    Is Beyond Diet Effective?

There have been multiple reviews on the web saying that this program does work, if you follow it strictly (like anything). The founder herself claims that she only cooks with organic food, and recommends that all of her clients do as well. This can get expensive for some, but the quality is definitely proven to be better for individuals all around. This is an elimination food program, which teaches people to cut out foods that are not good for them. I do not see why you wouldn’t lose weight, with or without using the Beyond Diet program.

What does not make sense to me, is the nonexistence of promoting exercise in this program. This is a staple to becoming healthier, and it is not highlighted or promoted at all. Maybe it will come in the future of their product, but they do not have it now. There are more complaints about the customer service, than praises about the effectiveness of the program which is a real problem for many different reasons.

Does Beyond Diet Have Side Effects?

Due to the elimination process of taking away unhealthy foods such as refined sugar, breads, and soy, some customers have reported withdrawal symptoms. This includes feeling shaky, irritable, and nauseous. There have been no serious medical side effects reported. More or less, the side effects that are not actual physical side effects are pure frustration in the recurring billing of your credit card, that makes people feel like they have lost control on the program. This in and of itself is not a great perk when trying to lose honest weight with a somewhat dishonest company.

What Is Beyond Diet Support Like?

The Beyond Diet's social media following is over 1 million on Facebook which is impressive, but then again many companies pay for fabricated likes and followers so it may not be that impressive after all. What is also not impressive is the lack of activity from the followers. The phone lines were closed when I called in the first time, so I had to call in another day. The customer service representative answered my call, and read directly from a script in a monotone voice. I was simply trying to ask a few questions, and when I asked them I could tell he looked up the answers from a script, and did not truly care about the customer (me) on the other end of the phone.

The $47.00 charge is a one-time fee for getting onto the portal, but once you get signed in there are hidden fees. Some of those fees include a $15.00 monthly newsletter charge, and a $77.00 charge to get physical books outside of the online portal. The hidden fees add up, and when reviewing the website, you are not told about the charges up front without asking. Once you give the company your credit card, it will be extremely hard to get those charges to stop occurring on a monthly basis, so just beware of that upfront.

    The Bottom Line

Overall the Beyond Diet just seems like a complete headache when it is all said and done. There have been reports of numerous customers who were unsatisfied with the book, and how vague it was. The bulk of the information is mere common sense, and did not satisfy. Finally, the lack of recipes the main book provided was a huge let down to 99% of the readers. Their message is rather simple, eat healthy, eliminate processed foods/sugar, and buy organic. You do not need to sign up for a monthly subscription for this information. Please save yourself the headache from The Beyond Diet program and do not fall into their credit card trap.

According to WebMD there is no need to drastically change your diet or starve yourself  in order to lose weight, simply follow logical guidelines like:

    • Eat more vegetables, fiber will help improve digestion
    • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and feel fuller. Sometimes we confuse hunger with thirst
    • Stay busy. When the cravings hit and it generally hits you when you are bored or anxious, take a walk, organize your closet or find any other activity to keep your mind occupied with anything but food

Founded in 2003, “Slimgenics” or formerly known as “Slim4life” offers a personalized program to help individuals reach their weight loss goals. This program promotes “support” with their program advisors, nutritional plans, and supplements to purchase. While this sounds great, it is very expensive and can be more of a hassle than help. It is more of a financial investment program with an advisor, and expensive supplementation and snacks. There is a no refund policy, and you have to go in for consultation meetings to get “sold” on why you should invest an incredible amount of money. There are a few red flags when taking a deeper look into their business model as I will explain below.

    Slimgenics Claims

Slimgentics claims that they provide a nutraceutical grade of nutritional substances to go along with the personalized food program. For those of you who are not familiar with the term “nutraceutical” it simply is the combination of two words: Nutrition and Pharmaceutical. The term has connotation with a range of herbal products, isolated nutrients and dietary supplements. Or in better terms, it is a fancy word to throw around to make your product seem more credible. You do not get any more information on these supplements (you personally will be needing) until you sign a contract to go ahead with the program. This makes me feel uneasy from the get go, because I do not know how expensive these products will be. However, they do provide these substances as claimed.

They claim (generally speaking) that while on their program, you can lose and average 1-2 pounds per week. Which is also a true statement, if you are following their nutrition plan.

While their website was user friendly, it simply “dripped” instead of “poured” information on their personalized program forcing someone to call in for more information. There were samples of what the program could look like, but it was rather hard to find. Another down side to the entire program was the convenience factor of knowing your price, and quickly getting started. You have to schedule a consultation meeting so they can evaluate your needs, and from there they will give you the costs involved. Because their locations are only in Colorado, Minnesota, and Ohio it left questions in my mind to whether or not I would even be able to move forward with Slimgenics.

There is also an initial trust factor involved once you get scheduled to meet with an advisor. They will evaluate your specific needs, and then they will give you the cost break down afterwards. How does the customer know they are really getting the best bang for their buck?

    Slimgenics Scientific Backing

The company has been in business since 2003, and after digging a little deeper there was nothing that set this program apart from any other diet program. They protect themselves by making the customer go through the consultation meeting and signing a contract before they give away any other information. If I were to sign any contract, I would want to specifically know the ingredients in the supplements, and their costs. To their credit, they do show their line of products on the “Shop Online” section of their site.

    Is Slimgenics Effective?

They have an organized business model with advisors, meal plans, and supplements. On top of that, they provide counselors and support groups along the way, but don’t be fooled because that will cost you a pretty penny. There are a couple of factors that could make Slimgenics harder to follow than other diet programs. Cost is a huge factor here, as many of the snacks and supplements can be expensive. For example, 1 Thermo Meal costs $29.00 for one meal. If you need two of these per week, you can see how it can add up. This cost is on top of your grocery bill! A few of their products involved in the STEP- At Home Program solely Slimgenic Products:

    • Nutritional guides with instructional videos, product catalogs, and food journals
    • Powders
    • Protein Bars
    • Detox Shakes
    • Liquid Vitamin D
    • Omega Slim- Fish Oils (EFA’s)
    • Daily Multi Vitamin, Vitamin D, and Calcium+Magnesium

    Does Slimgenics Have Side Effects?

Everyone’s bodies are going to react to changes in nutrition differently. Every one also is going to be on a different plan, so the food and supplements will vary as well. Some have spoken out about the lack of exercise Slimgenics promotes, which can essentially be a side effect in and of itself with results, energy, and overall appearance.

    What Is Slimgenics Support Like?

I called into the Slimgenics support line, and spoke with a representative. She was eager to get me signed up right away, and did not get frustrated when I turned her down wanting more information. She however was not very informational, and did not know basic answers like costs of the programs, and if there was a money back guarantee. When she could not answer my question, she diverted me to the person who could sign me up by getting my e-mail address. After reviewing other articles, the program’s cost however was very expensive! An upwards of $1000.00. Ouch. No thank you! It seemed like they were only caring about getting you signed up vs. really answering your basic questions and concerns. I still have not received my e-mail either. Lastly, their social media is almost non-functional for how long they have been in business. With Facebook being their largest at 130K followers, the minuscule amount of comments and likes was embarrassing to say the least. Overall, people were either satisfied with their weight loss, or they were raging about how expensive this program was. You can reach their main support line by calling 855-843-1200.

    The Bottom Line

Overall the structure of the company seems very organized and well put together, but you are signing your life away in a sense. Because they do not offer any refunds what so ever, it is a serious money commitment. I do not like the major cost involved in the program, and the fact that you need to be evaluated and seen by an advisor before getting your plan is scary. I believe there are many other hassle free programs out there, that can get you the results without all of the fuss.
